Moorland Rider’s popular Girth Buckle Wash-Bag has been redesigned to make it even easier to use.

The Girth Buckle Wash-Bag helps to protect the washing machine’s drum during a cycle and also prevents the girth’s buckles making that ‘clanking’ noise as the girth spins inside the machine. It’s made up of a neoprene bag to cushion the buckles and now has an elastic drawstring cord and toggle at the top, to make it easier to get onto the girth.

“Our Wash-Bags make necessary jobs, like washing a horse’s girth, much easier,” says Caroline Graham from Moorland Rider. “Girths can be washed by hand but, especially in the winter, standing outside with a bucket and brush isn’t all that appealing! The washing machine is the obvious answer, but the metal elements damaging the machine’s drum as they crash around means that, for many, it’s not an option. The Girth Buckle Wash-Bag stops this and the new design is even easier to use. It can be used on its own or inside the Horsewear Wash-Bag – to help contain any hair.”

The new Girth Buckle Wash-Bag is available in black and has a RRP of £4.75.
