Exciting Plans Announced for the H F Sport Horses  Bolesworth Young Horse Championship Show

PLANS are well underway for this year’s H F Sport Horses Bolesworth Young Horse Championship Show which will be held in Cheshire for the first time.

Formerly known as British Showjumping’s Young Horse Championship Show the event will take place at Bolesworth Castle near Tattenhall, Chester at the home of the Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show.

This exciting move to Cheshire also sees a new partnership announced with H F Sport Horses.  The company has taken on title sponsorship of the event and is run by Sean Cubitt.

The H F Sport Horses Bolesworth Young Horse Championships, now incorporate the Official British Showjumping Young Horse Championships and World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) qualifiers. 

This five day young horse showcase runs from August 14 to 18 in the stunning grounds of Bolesworth Castle and will feature 4, 5, 6 & 7-year-old age classes, incorporating qualifiers for the FEI World Young Horse Breeding Championships in Lanaken, held in September.

These will run alongside CSI** and CSIAm International classes with the young horses all having the chance to experience jumping in the amphitheatre-style Main Arena with the atmosphere of a true International competition.

The opening night on August 14 will include an Eventing Grand Prix, and a Ramiro B Elite Auction for foals, yearlings and two-year-olds sired by the legendary Ramiro B.

The finals of a new British 3-year-old Loose Jumping Championship will be held on the Thursday night.

Qualifiers will be held throughout July at the following venues:

PYECOMBE (Sussex)

ONLEY GROUNDS (Warwickshire)

MUIRMILL (Scotland)

SPOT ACRE (Staffordshire)

LEDSTON EQUINE CENTRE (Yorkshire)

Friday night includes the launch of the new Bolesworth AES Elite Foal Auction featuring the very best British bred foals.

Saturday will conclude with the TheraPlate UK Puissance followed by evening entertainment, it’s party time.

The show provides a fantastic platform for promoting trade of Elite Sport Horses both within the UK and Internationally. Extensive facilities will be available on site to trial horses and a panel of top sport horse vets will be on site, before, during and after the show.

Show Promoter Nina Barbour said: “We are very pleased to welcome on board the team from H F Sport Horses. We are striving to deliver an innovative concept incorporating not only the Official British Young Horse Championships, showcasing the Best of British, but also to create a platform for the Sport Horse industry to do business at Bolesworth.”

Competition will see some of the very best young horses from all over Britain, travelling to compete in the North West. The British Breeding Industry will be another focus for the event, with stakeholders being invited both to exhibit and to network, with the show providing a platform for breeders, producers and stallion owners to do business. Sunday will also include the opportunity for stallion owners to showcase Elite Stallions in the Main International Arena.

VIP Hospitality packages are available from £85 plus VAT per person in the day and £50 plus VAT per person for the evening sessions.

A wide range of sponsorship opportunities are available, with supporter’s packages starting at £1,500 plus VAT.
