The Equilibrium Products Show Horse Personality of the Year Award is open to horses that compete in flat ridden, working or in hand classes in the following categories- Hunters, Hacks, Cobs, Riding Horses, Coloureds, Part Breds and Arabs.
Previous winners of the Show Horse Personality of the Year Award include 2015 winner Barbers Shop, the last horse to be bred by the Queen Mother and winner of titles that include RoR Champion at Royal International and Horse of the Year Show. The Humdinger, three times HOYS coloured champion as well as Hallmark IX who stood as HOYS Supreme horse in 2013.

The Showing Council/Showing World Show Personality of the Year Awards are now in their 7th year of running, nominations for the 2016 awards opens on the 1st February with the event culminating on the 22nd October where category winners and runners up will be presented with their awards at what is known as showing’s end of season party.
