Excitement Builds for Osberton International Horse and Driving Trials

This year’s Osberton International Horse and Driving Trials look’s set for world class sport as well as a host of family entertainment.

The very best eventing and driving action is combined with the fantastic setting of the Nottinghamshire estate with the event running from September 29 to October 2.

Horsepower of a different kind will be provided by the Shire Horse Society with those majestic giants based at the Belvoir barns shelter, where spectators can get close up and personal to these magnificent animals.

If that’s not all, the society is also providing a shuttle service for the public from the water jump to the bank complex with tractor rides.

At the Tournament Ground there’s the chance to have a go at the thrilling sports of archery and axe throwing - go on you know you want to!

Dog Agility and a Dog Show are being run by Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, on the Saturday and Sunday, and will be at Osberton International with a dog agility arena and dog show classes - great for those bringing their canine friends.

If it’s the fun of the fair you are looking for, why not have a walk across to the fairground attractions where all members of the family can have enjoy vintage stalls and rides.

If that’s not all there is also the cut and thrust of the Animalintex Pony Club Mounted Games and Tigga’s Saddlery Pony Club show jumping running on the Sunday.

A craft marquee, great food choices and the British Polo Gin bar will keep everyone entertained and provide a fantastic day out.

What better way to enjoy Osberton International Horse Trials than with your caravan, motorhome, horsebox or tent on site allowing you to stay overnight, book your pitch before they go and get set to party!

Knowing you can enjoy four full days watching top class eventing and carriage driving whilst experiencing the many added attractions of this fantastic event is something to look forward to at the end of the summer.

Enjoy all the fun of the evening entertainment and chill out and have a drink with friends before heading back to the camping field for a BBQ and to relive the days sporting action.
