Martin Collins are delighted to be the official surface suppliers to the London International Horse Show for another year.

The event will take place at the award winning ExCel Arena in London where a 90,000 strong audience will be able to see the best international competition including three FEI World Cup Qualifiers in Jumping, Dressage and Driving, alongside the usual wonderful mix of international equestrian displays, all on a Martin Collins surface.

The London International Horse Show have chosen the hugely popular Ecotrack surface for their Warm Up and International Arenas. Ecotrack is a blend of mixed fibres, high-grade industrial washed silica carefully blended with a wax coating, to give exceptional energy return and stability. This is an incredibly versatile surface which has been designed with the competition horse in mind. It offers outstanding stability under foot, for confidence, security and top performance.

With only a few short days in which to lay this foot perfect surface the Martin Collins team will prove once again that their experience and expertise are what is needed for an event of this calibre. There will be 1,020 metric tonnes of Ecotrack, that’s 36 artic loads, heading over to the ExCel Arena. The first surface is tipped on Thursday morning (8th December) and it will take 19 ‘man days’ to install and prepare, ready for the horses to start arriving on Tuesday 13th.  The show finishes on Monday 19th, by 08:30 the next morning the International Arena is once again cleared of any surface, and by 12 noon on Wednesday, all the Martin Collins Ecotrack surfaces will have been removed from ExCeL. Mission complete.

Martin Collins are also proud to support the FEI World Cup Driving taking place on Friday  afternoon and Saturday evening and Santa Stakes taking place on Sunday evening. An incredible event, year on year.
