Said Gillian: “HorseFest is a fantastic new idea that really will bring together like-minded horse lovers in a wonderful setting where they can learn, catch up and have fun all at the same time.”

Horses Inside Out gives horse owners, riders, trainers and professionals a thought-provoking insight into equine locomotion, training and management from an anatomical perspective.

By painting the muscles, skeleton and other anatomical systems onto live horses Gillian brings anatomy to life to deliver a truly inspiring insight into how the horse works.

The live painted horse demonstration is a fun, interactive and explains in a clear, entertaining, memorable way how understanding anatomy helps us ride, train and manage our horses efficiently and effectively.

With the skeleton painted on the outside, Gillian will also demonstrate exercises to develop a supple, strong, comfortable horse able to maximise his range of movement,  perform at his best and reduce the risk of injury.

The event promises a packed line-up that includes a variety of interactive and inclusive performances and demonstrations from top riders and experts across all areas of the equestrian world, allowing HorseFest festival goers to learn and develop their own knowledge in an inspirational and caring environment.

With leading names already signed up, topics covered across HorseFest will include training on and off the ground, saddlery fitting, biomechanics, physiology of horse and rider and many more – there will be something for everyone.

As well as the educational element, socialising is a key ingredient in the HorseFest mix, and the horse world does love a party!

At night, unwind, relax or dance the night away with the live music and entertainment or get involved with fun quizzes as you treat yourself to a drink or two!
