Griffin NuuMed have appointed two Brand Ambassadors in the lead up to the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Grassroots Championships.

The company extended the invitation to become a Brand Ambassador to all riders who have qualified for the Grassroots Championships. The response was so strong that they selected two, Karen Franklin and Emily Proud, both of whom have qualified for the BE90 Championships.

The two Ambassadors will receive products from NuuMed and will be charting their progress towards the Championships via a series of blogs and social media updates.

“We have always used Griffin NuuMed products for our horses, so to have been chosen as a Brand Ambassador is incredibly exciting! This is my second ride at Badminton Grassroots, this year on my own horse Schmaul. Riding through the grounds, past the house and through the lake was surreal; I just can’t wait for this year’s event!” says Emily from Bruton, Somerset.

Karen Franklin from Camelford, Cornwall comments “I was surprised and delighted to learn that I have been selected as a Brand Ambassador. At the 2011 Grassroots I made a promise to myself to relish competing on the hallowed turf; which I did, particularly the presentation in front of Badminton House to receive my 7th place. I aim to do just the same this year and enjoy every single moment. After all the practising is over, this is the real deal!”

Rosie Pocock, Managing Director of Griffin NuuMed added “The Grassroots Championships is a fantastic aspirational event for so many amateur riders and we hope that many people will find it an added incentive to qualify themselves as they read about Karen and Emily’s journey to Badminton.”
