Hartpury has launched a new bursary scheme to help more UK students looking for careers working with animals and in farming to benefit from its world-leading facilities.

The Guyll-Leng Bursary is open to applicants from households with limited income and demanding circumstances wishing to study Agriculture, Animal, Equine and related land-based subjects at college level.  It offers financial assistance for up to three years of study, including work placements, to help new or returning students towards the costs of accommodation, subsistence, travel, trips, sporting participation, books, equipment and other course-related expenses.

Principal Russell Marchant said: “We pride ourselves on our success in enabling our students to be the best they can become, not only academically but in their personal development too.
