THIS year’s Longines Luhmühlen Horse Trials looks set to be one of the best ever with leading riders from around the world competing for the top places on the winner’s podium.
Running from June 13 to 16, subscribers to Horse & Country’s streaming service can view exclusive live streaming of all phases from Luhmühlen which this time round sees British stars Tina Cook, Zara Tindall, Sarah Bullimore and Tom McEwen set to compete.
Zara, a former European and world champion, returns to eventing’s top level after a year away — she had her second daughter, Lena, in June last year and only took part in a few events in the autumn.
Sarah Bullimore has two rides, bringing forward established campaigner Reve Du Rouet and up-and-coming ride Conpierre.
Tina Cook will pilot Calvino II, while last year’s Blenheim winners Isabella Innes Ker and Carolyn make their debut at five-star level. World team gold medallist Tom McEwen has Figaro Van Het Broekxhof entered.
Australia’s Sam Griffiths will start on the experienced Paulank Brockagh, as promised when he withdrew her from Badminton.
New Zealand’s Tim Price will make his fourth top-level start of this spring when he brings forward Ascona M, while compatriot Mark Todd will ride Kiltubrid Rhapsody, who was sixth at Badminton last year.

The timetable for live streaming will have viewers hooked for a four-day feast of world class eventing sport.
Thursday – June 13 – CCI5*-L Dressage Day 1: 1.05pm to 3.55pm
Friday – June 14 – CCI5*-L Dressage Day 2: 12.55pm to 3.45pm
Saturday – June 15 – CCI5*-L Cross-Country: 7.50am to 11am
Sunday – June 16 – CCI5*-L Showjumping: 9.15am to 10.40am
Prize-giving: 10.40am to 10.50am
