Exhibitors at BETA International 2020 have lined up some special events, promotions and celeb visitors on their stands to make the show experience truly memorable. Here are just some of the exciting activities...

The BRITISH EQUESTRIAN TRADE ASSOCIATION (BETA) has news of its forthcoming NOPS bedding standard and EquiToolz, a training portal offering online courses for members. G7.1

BRITISH HORSE FEEDS & THE GOLDEN PASTE COMPANY are giving away a bag of Cooked Linseed or one Golden Paste Company product free with specific offers on the stand – and a bumper Masham hamper to win packed with food and drink goodies from the North Yorkshire town. J7.4

BROOMRAKER is running a raffle on its stand throughout the show to win the BroomRaker, a trailer cleaner and multi-purpose yard, stable and garden tool. L11.3

ELICO EQUESTRIAN/JENKINSONS launches its Candy Crazy range of Jelly Beans and Liquorice Allsorts skullcap covers with the invitation to sample the real sweets! C1.1

EQUILIBRIUM PRODUCTS is giving show visitors a chance to chat to equine scientist Dr David Marlin over bubbly and nibbles on Sunday and Monday between 2 and 3pm – and journalists can book one-on-one appointments on either day. G6.1

Visitors to the ETN (EQUESTRIAN TRADE NEWS) stand can enter the leading trade magazine’s annual bumper draw, with thousands of pounds worth of prizes up for grabs – and pick up a free copy of the magazine. G2.1

Visitors to the NEUE SCHULE stand include Teddy the Shetland, event riders Emily Baldwin, Taggy Forester-Bennett and Sophie Hulme on Sunday, carriage driver and stunt performer Daniel Naprous, dressage rider and trainer Dan Sherriff, and event riders Wills Oakden and Julia Krajewski on Monday, and dressage breeding centre Mount St John and dressage rider and trainer Tor Fenwick on Tuesday. E2.1

SMART GROOMING is offering a 10 per cent discount on all its products to retailers placing orders at the show or by 24 January. E4.2

The SOCIETY OF MASTER SADDLERS is running competitions on all three days of the show, with prize-giving at The Charles Owen Spotlight on Sunday during the BETA International awards presentations starting at 5.15pm, then in the competition area next to the SMS stand on Monday at 4.30pm and Tuesday at 2.30pm. On Sunday, Saddlery Training Centre students have six hours to complete a raised browband. On Monday, second-year Capel Manor College students make an Irish martingale. On Tuesday, first-year Capel Manor College students make a bridle headpiece. H11.4

TRANSFERMATE GLOBAL PAYMENTS is running a daily draw to win a set of Apple AirPods wireless headphones. H11.1

BETA International 2020, which caters for the equestrian, country, pet and giftware sectors, is running at the NEC, Birmingham, from 19 to 21 January
