Grandstand Media Ltd are pleased to welcome another new showing sponsor on board for the 2019 Horse of the Year Show, further extending the support from the showing fraternity to provide longevity for this wonderful discipline. Susie Hinchliffe and her daughter Tammy Heathcote of Roseberry Stud in Derbyshire have taken on the title sponsorship of the Partbred Ridden Pony of the Year Championship. As a small stud who breeds top quality show ponies, show hunter ponies, show riding types and Welsh section Bs, they hold an invested appreciation for the sport and are delighted to be working alongside Horse of the Year Show this year.

Susie explains: “We are so pleased to be able to sponsor at Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) this year; it is such a prestigious show that everyone in showing dreams about competing at. It provides a fabulous stage for the many different horses and ponies bred in this country, and the show is highly regarded by hundreds of likeminded people. We have seen generations of our own family members compete at HOYS, not to mention generations of ponies which we have bred, including a Champion Show Pony and a Reserve Champion Show Hunter Pony. We are looking forward to supporting the show for many years to come.”

As a stud who has had ponies compete at HOYS for many years, we are delighted to now welcome Roseberry Stud as a new class sponsor and hope that they enjoy being on ‘the other side of the fence’ as it were.”
