Velvet is the choice of Equitex, as contrary to popular belief, is extremely hardwearing, breathable, and incredible soft to the skin. All components are hand cut and then meticulously layered together to give a high-performance pad that can endure hours of contact with the horse. The properties of the moisture wicking fabric helps to prevent localised over-heating and reduces the formation of moisture and sweat. The most unique part of this pad is what is hidden inside; 3cm of a highly technical, shock absorbing foam that cushions and protects, but allows for total freedom of movement for the skin and muscles under the saddle. These internal foam panels are in one entire piece and the technology used to bond the outer fabric prevents any creases, ridges, limps or bumps so negating any pressure points. With no girth straps or fixing loops, the non-slip guarantee comes from the “sticky” heat sealed, graphic grips that secure the saddle firmly in place.
The Classic Dressage Saddle Pad in a Diamond White has a straight cut front and elongated panel and is cut to give plenty of wither room and to keep the spine free.
Extremely easy to care for, there is no need to wash an Equitex Saddle Pad after every use, just leave to dry and simply clean with a soft brush. After frequent use the saddle pad can be easily washed in the washing machine at 30 °C and stays in shape.
