THIS year’s BETA International was highly successful for the team at innovative footwear experts, Grubs Boots.

The three days saw them winning awards, being visited by their sponsored rider and a wellknown artist, and having a very busy show throughout.

With leading event rider Ben Hobday and artist Emily Cole taking time out from the busy schedules and heading to Birmingham, the occasion was topped off with a highly commended in the BETA International Innovation Awards 2015.

Grubs Rainline boots received the accolade in the Country Fashion and Footwear section, seen by the judges as a revolutionary product totally new to the industry.

Aimed at the general country, equestrian and agricultural market, the Rainline boots reinvent the welly, combining Grub’s unique Superdri technology with lightweight, easy-clean rubber.

They bring to the wellington market a new level of fit, comfort, grip and warmth as a result of the Insufoam stretch bellows on the shaft, Nitrocell cushioned and insulated footbed and Trax Duraprene rubber sole.

The BETA International Innovation Awards judges said:“Whereas most wellies don’t have enough rubber, these do. They use three different technologies and are available at a very nice price. The boots have good finishing, a wide range of sizes, are not too heavy to wear and we like the elastic at the back – ideal for wider legs.”

Added David Foster of Grubs boots: “We are really pleased that this remarkable product has been recognised. We wanted to reinvent the Wellington boot. The Rainline are boots that really preform in a choice of vibrant colours.”

The BETA International Innovation Awards are a chance for products new to the market to be showcased for their original design, market research, quality and manufacture.
