WHEN show jumper Tim Stockdale died a month after being diagnosed with cancer the equestrian world was shocked and went into mourning for this much-loved star. Now, some 12 months on, Joe, son of Tim and his wife Laura, has taken on the lead rider and trainer role at their yard in Northamptonshire, while his brother Mark is busy with his chosen sport of golf.

With a determination to carry on and make Tim proud the family has been hard at work with the horses, and developing the foundation in his name to make sure his legacy lives on.

We get to meet some of their top horses and are served up a barbecue, cooked by Joe and Mark in the latest episode of ‘Daisy Dines With…’on Horse & Country.

Screened on Sunday, November 17 at 8pm the programme provides a fascinating insight into their lives since Tim’s passing and the positive strength they have shown to continue enriching their own and other people’s lives.

Without doubt the Tim Stockdale Foundation has found its way into the hearts of thousands of equestrian fans and Laura chats to Daisy about one of the fundraisers – ’10 for Tim’ held at Hickstead in July.

Over the family barbecue Daisy, in her chatty and friendly style, helps provide a behind the scenes look at life with Team Stockdale and their programme guest, Reece McCook from the Urban Equestrian Academy.

Joe talks about his very successful show jumping career which has seen him represent Team GB at the Young Rider Europeans amongst many notable wins, while brother Mark recounts his life in the world of golf.
