Taking place for its fourth consecutive year, the British Showjumping National Championships (BSNC) and Stoneleigh Horse Show (SHS) returns to NAEC Stoneleigh at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire. The now well-established show boasts top showjumping championships and HOYS showing qualifiers running from 7th – 12th August.

British Showjumping National Championships

A wide range of National Showjumping Finals will be up for grabs over the six days, including the Retraining of Racehorses (ROR) Championship and the Bronze and Silver Leagues as well as the Stepping Stones Championship and the coveted HOYS Wildcard Series.

Showjumping reaches its climax on Sunday with the prestigious International Stairway League and the British National Showjumping finals. With four coveted Wildcards to HOYS up for grabs, the competition is expected to be fierce. 2017 saw the crowning of Annabel Shields as British National Showjumping Champion; she was joined at HOYS by two time winner of the International Stairway, Helen Tredwell, Show League winner James Smith and Under 25 HOYS Wild Card winner Pippa Allen.

Stoneleigh Horse Show

Showing will also be taking over Stoneleigh Park, with the Stoneleigh Horse Show beginning on Friday 10th August. Running through to Sunday evening, the show offers a wide variety of classes from mountain and moorlands to working hunters and miniatures as well as more Horse of the Year Show qualifying opportunities than any other show. With 57 HOYS qualifying places on offer, each breed has the opportunity to qualify for the NPS/Baileys Horse Feeds Ridden Pony of the Year.

Uniquely at Stoneleigh Horse Show, there will be no membership stipulations for any showing classes including the ever sought after HOYS qualifiers. However it’s important to remember that before any qualification is verified for Horse of the Year Show, competitors who are not current members of the relevant societies must become so within seven working days of the date of qualification.

Entries for both BSNC & SHS are now open and will close via post on the 20th July and online by 23rd July. Find the schedule and information on how to enter at www.bsnationalchampionships.com or www.stoneleighhorseshow.co.uk
