For 2018 Horse of the Year Show welcomes a new act to the Andrews Bowen International Arena, all the way from France, Alizée Froment will wow the crowds with her incredible bridle-less dressage display. Commonly referred to as a ‘French woman on a mission’, Alizée is set to make her UK debut at “The World’s Most Famous Horse Show” this year for their 70th Anniversary, which takes place from 3rd – 7th October at Birmingham’s NEC Genting Arena.

 Horse of the year show

Alizée has previously participated internationally at Grand Prix level dressage with several horses including her Lusitano stallion Mistral, together they competed up to CDI 5*, Nations Cup and at European Championships. More recently they are renowned for impressing show spectators with their horsemanship skills of performing the dressage movements with just a simple cord resting around the horse’s neck. Alizée has shown that there are no limits to how far she can go with training her stunning horses and often spends her week travelling around to numerous countries to teach what she has learnt.

The successful international dressage rider's main aim is to build a strong relationship with her horses so they can learn even the hardest dressage movements with serenity, pleasure and happiness. She has internalized the words of her friend Jean-François Pignon: "If you want to work with horses, then you have to learn the horse's language."

Alizée Froment’s inspiring display will take place each day at Horse of the Year Show, however, the display will be in the daytime performances only at the weekend. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 28th February, for what will be an exceptional Platinum Jubilee Show. For more information please visit www.hoys.co.uk
