Animal nutrition companyAlltech, supported World Horse Welfare’s auction at its charity polo day in July through the donation of tickets and accommodation at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2014 in Normandy.

This certainly generated a lot of interest and enthusiasm during the auction raising £750, which is a wonderful boost to the charity’s work.

The winning bidder is an excellent supporter and member of the Chairman’s Circle of the charity, Ann Boanas, who has kindly given these tickets to her daughter Susannah to enjoy.

“It’s wonderful to be a supporter of World Horse Welfare, who do so much to help horses and aren’t we lucky that such a prestigious company as Alltech also support the charity’s global work”, said Ann.

The funds raised from this packed-full auction will go a long way to help horses who have been neglected and educate horse owners to prevent welfare cases developing.

Alltech and World Horse Welfare have been working together to support the hard-working horses in Haiti, one of 10 international countries that the charity works in, and a country that has been devastated by natural disaster and is still being rebuilt with the help of horses.

World Horse Welfare’s provision of emergency support and continuing education in developing countries means that many thousands of horses are benefiting from improved care and people’s lives, and livelihoods, are recovering and improving every day.
