All-action hero, Ben Atkinson will be making his way to Shropshire for HorseFest this July.

Ben is highly regarded for his liberty work and classical dressage and is sure to leave festival-goers inspired and enthralled with his incredible team of horses.

HorseFest takes place in the beautiful surrounds of Weston Park, July 23 to 25, providing a fantastic backdrop for Ben to showcase his skills and enlighten spectators.

Over the Saturday and Sunday, Ben will perform two demonstrations each day in the Main Arena involving liberty, dressage and airs above the ground.

If you’d like to learn about starting liberty with your horse, also catch him at the our more intimate, smaller demo area, where he will cover this highly skilled level of horsemanship through a relatable liberty demonstration with one of his novice horses just starting out on their journey together.

And if that’s not enough Ben will also be at the Large Talks Venue for a Q&A session on both days where visitors will learn more about his fascinating story so far.

Said Ben: “It is wonderful to have HorseFest to look forward to in the summer and the team behind the event have put together a brilliant concept that I am sure will be great fun as well as educational.”

“The last 12 months have given me a lot of time to continue to develop my horsemanship skills and liberty training, and my relationship with my brilliant team of horses has definitely moved to the next level.”

“Weston Park is the ideal venue to showcase all the hard work that has been put in and I can’t wait to bring the horses and meet so many of my fantastic supporters.”

As well as Ben, catch eventing mother and daughter duo, Mary and Emily King; event rider and presenter Jonty Evans, with the much heralded Cooley Rorkes Drift; the very own Tiger himself, Jay Halim, passing on his show jumping tips; Grand Prix dressage rider, Sam Turner and her traditional gypsy cob, Billy Whiz; and Steph Croxford, so well-known for her incredible partnership with Mr President.

Natural horseman Jason Webb and performance psychologist Charlie Unwin are set to entertain with an exciting collaboration; while Gillian Higgins the brains behind Horses Inside Out will also be in attendance providing a fascinating insight into equine locomotion, training, management, and welfare from an anatomical perspective.

At night, unwind, relax or dance the night away with the live music and entertainment or get involved with fun quizzes as you treat yourself to a drink or two!

Throughout the event there will be a variety of tasty and innovative food stalls and bars as well as a shopping village that will include horsey and lifestyle stands to browse and enjoy.
