Accredited Degree Pathways
WCUC offers two specialised honours degrees, available as standard three-year courses or four-year routes with an Integrated Foundation Year.
The Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation BSc (Hons) dives straight into functional anatomy, biomechanics, equine health, and therapy. When you graduate, you are eligible for formal membership with the Animal Health Professions' Register, giving you recognised credentials to work alongside veterinary teams.
The Equine Performance Coaching BSc (Hons) blends rider biomechanics, exercise physiology, and sports psychology to get the best out of horse and rider. You can earn industry-recognised 1st4sport Coaching Qualifications right alongside your degree, building a strong CV ready for real coaching roles.
Commercial Facilities and Student Livery
You study in working commercial environments every day. Campus facilities include an Equine Hydrotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre with a high-speed treadmill, plus a Horse and Rider Performance Centre with an interactive simulator. The site also features an indoor arena, a covered outdoor arena, a large outdoor riding arena with modern surfaces, cross-country courses, a horse walker, and a dedicated farriery unit.
Heading to university does not mean leaving your horse behind. Moreton Morrell College offers stabling for over 60 horses, complete with a DIY Student Livery package that includes stable hire, initial bedding, weekly forage and feed, turnout options, and access to campus equine facilities.
