Hiho Silver is delighted to introduce Dimpsey, a sister web-based company specialising in stunning bags and ‘irrational must-haves’ for the home – with all products being made in the UK.

The current collection features the ‘Dimpsey edit’ of Owen Barry’s fabulous leather, suede and cowhide bags. These products are excellent quality, beautifully made and come from Somerset, where the Dimpsey team is based.

“We’re really excited to be launching Dimpsey,” says director Emma Warren. “Hiho Silver has always been known for great quality silver and gifts – and in our shops we have always sold homewares, but we’ve only ever really sold aluminium homewares on the Hiho website – which we will continue to do.

Dimpsey will extend the stable of homeware products, all of which will be British-made.  We will stick with our heritage of country-themed products, which we hope our Hiho customers will love, as well as introducing a new group of people to our country world.

“We’ve launched with a range of Owen Barry bags, but we’re currently creating our own exclusive lines made using organic materials from the South West, where we’re based. Dimpsey is all about irrational must have products, and our range will be growing. We have some great products in development, and we’re also looking to work with designers in the South West because we’re incredibly proud of our heritage, and want to give others the opportunity to enjoy it.”

Current products that can be found on www.dimpsey.co.uk include Owen Barry’s Boho Purse in zebra, zebrine, brown splash and more, for just £15, as well as shoulder bags, key rings and Penny Knot bags.

The word Dimpsey is a West Country term for the half light that comes at the end of the day- otherwise referred to as twilight or dusk. Using a word that’s from the South West as a brand name seemed like a great choice for this fun and fabulous new company.
