Dressage Leading Lights Hot Foot it to The Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show

Major British and continental dressage stars are heading to this year’s Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show.

The show is set to host a number of prestigious Dressage Viewing Trials for the Young Dressage Horse World Championships as well as the prestigious Equitop Myoplast CDI3* Grand Prix and Freestyle.

Big names to look out for on the dressage front are of course Carl Hester and Britain’s golden girl, Charlotte Dujardin MBE who so enjoyed last year’s show.  Carl and Charlotte will be riding their current stars Hawtins Delicato and Mount St John Freestyle.

They will be joined by Richard Davison and Bubblingh, Gareth Hughes and Classic Briolinca and Emile Faurie with Café Caletta to name just a few.

Following its’ huge success over the last two years, the Wednesday and Thursday will see top-level dressage return with the Bolesworth CDI*** attracting leading riders to the magnificent Bolesworth Estate.

Wednesday afternoon will play host to the Equitop Myoplast CDI3* Grand Prix and the evening will include a Dressage Demonstration with Carl Hester and Peter Storr.

Following his hugely successful demonstrations over the last two years, Carl has teamed up with renowned dressage rider, trainer and FEI 4* Judge, Peter for the 2019 event.

This well-known duo will bring to spectators a fascinating showcase titled - ‘80% Is The New 70%’ – Through The Eyes Of The Judges – on Wednesday, June 12 at 6.40pm.

Carl is simply legendary in the sport of dressage having ridden and produced so many horses to Grand Prix level over the years.

A multi-garlanded gold medallist across so many championships teams, Carl is of course also held in high regard for training a plethora of leading dressage riders in the modern day sport.

Carl’s latest star is the 11-year-old Hawtin’s Delicato, the attractive bay gelding owned by Diamond Hit and owned by Lady Anne Evans, Ann Cory and Carl.

Together they formed part of the Bronze medal winning team at last year’s World Equestrian Games in Tryon, North Carolina.

Charlotte returns with Mount St John Freestyle, the bay mare who was so successful at last year’s show, with Bolesworth International being her first competition since the World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Tryon, California last year.

The pair made their championships debut at WEG in the USA, where they led the British team to win bronze and came away with individual bronze after the Grand Prix Special.

Emile Faurie is one of the country’s leading international dressage riders and trainers and has represented Great Britain at World, European and Olympic level. Emile was part of the bronze medal winning team at last year’s WEG, riding Dono Dimaggio.
