The team behind the Event Rider Masters series are excited to launch Elite Eventing TV, an innovative new concept that creates a direct link between the passion of the global eventing audience and a tangible stream of financial investment in the sport of eventing. For the first time, a direct connection will be made between the global eventing audience, event sponsors and eventing riders through the creation of the ‘Elite Eventing Premium’ prize fund: in short, an additional prize pot for competitors is topped up every time a viewer purchases live-stream access.

Elite Eventing TV takes the world-leading broadcast quality of the Event Rider Masters series and offers it as a dedicated Pay Per View (PPV) live-streaming model, turning views into direct investment in the sport.

For every sale of the Chedington Bicton Park 5* Live Stream Weekend Pass over the initial 5,000 purchases, Elite Eventing TV will donate £7.50 directly into the ‘Elite Eventing Fund’. The Elite Eventing Fund firstly creates the Elite Eventing Premium – the competition’s additional prize pot – with further funding initiatives to be announced in due course.

Riders at the upper end of the leader board at the 2021 Chedington Bicton Park 5* will be vying for a slice of the new Elite Eventing Premium prize fund, on top of the scheduled €125,000 prize fund, also sponsored by Elite Eventing TV. 15,000 Live Stream Weekend Pass sales would generate an additional prize premium of £75,000 – with no ceiling on the fund.

Elite Eventing TV owner Chris Stone commented:

“We’re delighted to be launching this model at Bicton and supporting the only 5* event in the UK for the past two years.  Elite Eventing has created a direct link between event riders who make our sport what it is, and the global audience who admire and thrive on the passion and adrenaline that eventing brings.  Elite Eventing will deliver a world class broadcast that offers value for money to the fans alongside reinvestment back into the sport.”

The 2021 Elite Eventing Premium will be distributed to the Top 10 placed Bicton 5* competitors, as follows:

  1. 32.0%
  2. 24.0%
  3. 16.0%
  4. 12.0%
  5. 6.0%
  6. 4.0%
  7. 2.0%
  8. 1.8%
  9. 1.2%
  10. 1.0%

Elite Eventing TV is available to a global eventing audience via a dedicated channel on Horse & Country’s streaming service, H&C+.

Weekend Passes gain exclusive access to all 5* Cross-Country action, plus the Sunday vet inspection and Showjumping finale.  Dressage will be free to view via horseandcountry.tv or via the H&C+ Apps.  Existing H&C+ subscribers will receive discounted Weekend Pass pricing.
