Equine surface manufacturer, Equestrian Direct, is delighted to announce the sponsorship of three up and coming event riders; Ben Way, Colina Pickles and Bonnie Fishburn.

International event rider, Ben Way, has a large team of horses working their way up through the ranks from BE100 level up to three star level. Ben also currently has the ride on a young horse, owned by Equestrian Direct, which he is aiming at the four-year-old classes.

Ben has had a fantastic season so far with wins at Moreton Morrell, Oasby and Upton House, and more recently, sixth in the CCI*** at Blair Castle International.

Another event rider who joins the team is Colina Pickles. She has a string of young and up and coming horses including Equestrian Direct’s six-year-old mare, Direct Tullyoran Cruise, currently competing at Novice level.

Following a season building on experience, they had a fantastic win at Aston-Le-Walls back in July and will now be looking to step it up a level in preparation for next season.

Also joining the team is amateur event rider Bonnie Fishburn. Bonnie has a small team of horses competing up to Intermediate level including the home produced Direct Flo, who carries the Equestrian Direct prefix.

Bonnie has also had a fantastic season finishing in style with a win at the British Riding Clubs Championships in the Open team dressage.

Said Jocelyn Riley, of Equestrian Direct Surfaces: “We are extremely passionate about eventing at Equestrian Direct and we are proud to be able to support these talented event riders.

“We are very pleased to be helping Ben, Colina and Bonnie to progress in their chosen equestrian discipline and are very much enjoying supporting and working alongside them.”

Ben, Colina and Bonnie all ride on Equestrian Direct’s Flexiride surface at home, a complete all weather surface suitable for a range a disciplines to provide a low maintenance cushioned surface.
