In the year of their silver anniversary celebrating 25 years of trading, Equilibrium have not only announced several new products, but also revealed a brand-new look for the brand.

‘We wanted an evolution, rather than a revolution. The company will keep the same important ethos that we’re all committed to – to make a difference to horses’ lives – but we’ve taken the opportunity to refresh the brand, along with our product ranges to bring about changes in sustainability, product improvements and clarity for horse owners, while also investing in supporting our industry through sponsorship.’ Candice Pottage, Marketing Manager at Equilibrium says.

Equilibrium was originally founded by one horse owner, Margaret Donnelly trying to help her horse overcome a potentially career or even life-threatening condition. Cause for Optimism, or Timmy as he was fondly known, was the inspiration for many of the products designed and made by Equilibrium today.

While the company is laser focused on improving equine wellbeing, environmental responsibility has been brought to the forefront of their attention. Sustainability driven changes include introducing compostable bags instead of single use plastic bags, changing from recyclable plastic product packaging to recyclable carboard for equipment ranges, as well as more easily accessible recycling packaging for their nutritional range. The Massage Pad repair service continues to grow, not only helping reduce waste but also giving horse owners exceptional value for money with some products now lasting over 15 years.

Recently taking on sponsorship of the Horse & Hound Dressage Horse of the Year Award, as well as the British Riding Clubs Dressage to Music Championships just to name a few, Equilibrium continues to invest support to the equestrian industry. Working closely with numerous local competition centres to bring competitors and horse owners even more enjoyment when competing with their horse, they continue to work with and support amateur and professional riders locally, nationally, and now even internationally.

Finally, the new products unveiled to be launching this autumn winter include some reinvented ‘old faces’ and some exciting brand-new product launches. The Crunchits Charity Christmas Advent Calendar, supporting both Brooke and Redwings Horse Sanctuary, is back this year with 24 doors filled with delicious low sugar Crunchits. All net proceeds from these calendars are given directly to the charities to support the important work they do both in the UK and beyond.

The Stretch & Flex Wraps make a reappearance and are now better than ever with several improvements to this original dressage wrap favourite.

The Massage Pad Heatsense has been a much-anticipated addition to the super popular Equilibrium Therapy range. Based on the proven Massage Pad, the Heatsense also features the option of heat. Not just heat, but intelligent, reliable and tested heat that is designed to respond to your horse’s temperature and adapt its heat output to ensure a therapeutic temperature is reached and maintained for the duration of the session.
