Equitop Bolesworth Young Horse Championship - Providing a Totally New Experience
Yes it’s a horse show, yes there’s show jumping BUT that’s where the similarity ends to most equestrian events at the new Equitop Bolesworth Young Horse Championship.
With a host of high-class show jumping and equestrian sport over the five days – August 14 to 18 in the stunning grounds of Bolesworth Castle – the event will provide a fantastic day out for equestrian sport enthusiasts.
But once the competition action stops the Bolesworth showground will come alive providing great evening entertainment, Wednesday through to Saturday.
Said Bolesworth Managing Director, Nina Barbour: “We are delighted to have this new show at Bolesworth Castle and as with all our events want it to be a truly unique and different experience.
“Our aim is to always provide great equestrian sport but as ever we will also want to offer an environment for all stakeholders to network and socialise throughout the event.
“As the classes come to an end each day it’s great for riders and visitors to get together and enjoy some leisure time in Club Boles.”
Eventing is the key focus of the Wednesday evening Gala Night with the Eventing Grand Prix and Bolesworth Elite Ramiro B Auction providing the chance to own an exceptional youngster by the legendary Ramiro B.
Well-known event rider and commentator Spencer Sturmey and a panel of Eventing Stars will be on hand to provide great chat and banter throughout followed by a Party DJ in Club Boles to round off the first day.
After a busy day featuring the Under 25’s competition, CSI 2* 1.40m Grand Prix qualifier as well as the prestigious four and five-year-old qualifiers, Thursday evening is set for a casino extravaganza and dancing in Club Boles.
Casino night will see guests trying their hand at Roulette, Black Jack, Poker and Wheel of Fortune – with the Club Boles Fun Money!
Always a highlight at Bolesworth’s stunning venue is the Mini Major which takes place on the Friday evening. The fun competition presents the chance for the up and coming future stars and their ponies to team up with the professionals in a pairs relay, whilst having a bit of fun in fancy dress.
The Bolesworth AES Elite Foal Auction will follow, presenting the best collection yet of Elite Foals truly destined for top sport. The evening will round off with live entertainment and DJ in Club Boles.
Saturday and it’s big red wall time in the Theraplate UK Puissance – a great crowd pleaser and not to be missed. Once the high-drama is over its time to head to Club Boles for a Carnival themed Party Night with food stations, live music and DJ. The evening will also include a performance by The Voice stars Belle Voici.
Tickets are now on sale at just £5 with free parking, when booked in advance online, giving event goers the chance to watch superb competition in an iconic setting.
All general admission ticket holders will have access to Club Boles with food served all day/evening and premium bars open till late.
Hospitality tickets are also available in the VIP area in Club Boles with tables for up to 10 people. Bookings under six people will be allocated to shared tables.
