Following on from the amazing success of last year's stability ball event at Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, Fit To Ride are back again on Saturday 13th September at 11.30am in the Attractions Arena for a 'mass' ball session.  Fit to Ride invites members of the public to an exciting opportunity to join Jon Pitts and world class event riders to this special “mass” ball session to raise funds for World Horse Welfare.

During the session Jon Pitts will introduce attendees to the benefits of a stability ball to help improve your riding technique and give you the opportunity to improve your own riding skills and knowledge.  Aiming to improve riders safety, confidence and performance, Jon's Fit to Ride programme makes riding better and safer through knowledge and confidence.

The largest rescue and rehoming horse charity in Britain, World Horse Welfare, is pleased at the support.  Deputy Chief Executive at the charity, Tony Tyler, says: “We are always incredibly grateful to each and every kind supporter who takes it upon themselves to raise funds towards our work rescue and rehabilitating Britain’s horses. The funds raised from this unusual, but what looks like incredible fun for all involved, session will help us to continue to make a real difference to horses worldwide. Don’t forget to come and see some of our rescue horses in the Attractions Arena or join us in the Learning Zone to find out more about our work.”

To sign up to this event and receive a fundraising form you will need to register in advance by contacting Fit to Ride’s administrator Nicola Tym on contact@fittoride.org.  Registration is £14.99 per person.  Stability balls can be purchased at half price, either in advance through the website www.fittoride.org or on the day (using discount code CRAZY50).  The person who raises the most money for World Horse Welfare will have the opportunity at the end of the event to meet and be photographed with the top level riders joining the “mass” ball session.

In addition to this fundraising event Jon will also be delivering demonstrations on Thursday 11th September at 3.30 pm in the Attractions Arena and Friday 12th September at 4.15 pm in the Learning Zone which include ridden demonstrations as well as the chance to see Jon working with a top rider.
