We are delighted to announce that UK company, GHS Direct, has been certified cruelty free under the Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny programme – the only international guarantee against animal testing in a company’s own brand products.

Trading since 1985, GHS Direct specialises in manufacturing an extensive range of animal care products, supplying concentrate disinfectants and detergents that are suitable for most animals. GHS Direct also manufacture a range of liquid detergents and disinfectants to pubs, clubs, hotels and other outlets in the leisure industry.

GHS Direct’s Sales & Technical Co-ordinator, Donna Piercy, said: “We are thrilled that Cruelty Free International has certified our cosmetics, animal grooming and household ranges as cruelty free with the Leaping Bunny programme. Being certified with the Leaping Bunny gives our customers the confidence to know that no animals will suffer in tests for our products.”

In order to become Leaping Bunny certified by Cruelty Free International, companies are required to adopt a fixed cut-off date, monitor their supply chains in line with strict criteria, and allow independent audits of their systems. GHS Direct joins over 600 companies to have obtained Leaping Bunny status

Cruelty Free International is campaigning to end animal testing for all beauty and household products worldwide.
