Horse & Country TV (H&C) today announced the launch of a new Box Set featuring extended highlights from ten classic Burghleys.
Dating back to 1990, the events feature such historic landmarks as William Fox-Pitt’s first Burghley win in 1994 on CHAKA, Pippa Funnell’s victory on PRIMMORE’S PRIDE in her historic Grand Slam victory year, Andrew Nicholson’s triumph in 2012, the first of his three back to back wins on AVEBURY, and Michael Jung’s extraordinary achievement in 2015 with LA BIOSTHETIQUE-SAM FBW, after he’d broken his leg in a fall from his other ride.
All ten programmes are available On Demand now at horseandcountry.tv to H&C subscribers.
Commenting on the Box Set, H&C Director of Content Jonathan Rippon said, “We’re looking forward to the time when everyone can get back in the saddle but, in the meantime, it’s a great opportunity to revisit and reminisce over some classic events from the past. As well as the Burghley Box Set, viewers can watch many hours of top competition across all disciplines at H&C.”
