TIM Price achieves his first CCI4* title at Luhmühlen Horse Trials, the biggest win of his career so far.

Team HAYGAIN rider Tim Price won the CCI4* riding Wesko on a brilliant score of 43.80%. Tim rose to victory, climbing from seventh place after the dressage, to take the title, thanks to an impressive clear showjumping round.

Based in Wiltshire, the 35-year-old New Zealander and 11-year-old KWPN Wesko, are having an incredible spring after winning the CIC3* at Tattersalls last month.

Said Tim: “I am over the moon to win Luhmühlen, Wesko a very good horse and life is very easy for him.I wish I had 10 Wesko’s in the yard.”

“I was originally interested in the HAYGAIN hay steamer when my four star horse Vortex had a slight cough in the lead up to Burghley. The improvement in him was instant. The benefits of steamed hay have become startlingly obvious to us and we now use Haygain with all our competition horses. It is practical to use, combined with a very robust design, HAYGAIN makes complete sense.”

Said Brian Fillery of HAYGAIN: “We are delighted to support Tim, it is a brilliant achievement, well done Tim and Wesko.”
