Country jewellery company, Hiho Silver, is delighted to announce the launch of the new Abbey Ling Country Shooting Collection at this year’s CLA Game Fair.
The stunning new range was inspired by National Ladies Shooting Day, an event that Hiho Silver supported both nationally and more locally, at Abbey Ling’s shooting school. Abbey ran one of the events at her shooting ground in Wellington, which is located very close to Hiho’s Somerset base, and Hiho not only provided goody bags for those attending, but a number of the company’s ladies also took part.
“We know that shooting is becoming increasing popular among ladies, and this was something that the overwhelming success of National Ladies Shooting Day supported,” says Emma Warren, Managing Director of Hiho Silver. “We introduced our first shooting piece, a beautiful sterling silver pheasant brooch, last year, but have really built on it for this collection. Not only have we added a pair of lovely pheasant earring, but we’ve also added three beautiful shotgun pieces, all made using sterling silver. We’ve tried to capture the gun’s detail but also make really wearable pieces. We look forward to seeing the reaction to this new range at the CLA Game Fair.”
As per all Hiho’s pieces, the quality is second to none, and the real-life detail that customers love is very evident on all the lines. The three shotgun pieces (a bracelet with curved guns for a great fit, earrings and pendant with chain) capture the essence of the gun, but also sport Hiho’s unique twists to make wearable designs.
“I loved the pieces as soon as I saw them,” says Abbey, who is not only a shooting coach but also World Cup gold medallist. “It’s a real honour to have my name attached to the collection and I’m excited to hear what people think of it.”
