Online equestrian retailer Equus England (EQUUS) and international equestrian sports network Horse & Country (H&C) are pleased to announce a major new promotional and marketing partnership. The two companies have agreed an extensive alliance based around a programme of promotional offers and incentives, backed by intensive content marketing across each other’s platforms.

Each month, members of H&C’s streaming service, H&C+, will receive exclusive offers from EQUUS. The offers will range across individual products, categories and brands, and other benefits such as express shipping. All offers will be redeemable by H&C+ members through their member discount page on the H&C+ site. Additionally, EQUUS will retail monthly and annual subscriptions to H&C+, with both direct purchase and gifting options.

For its part, H&C will create bespoke video content for each offer and promote them widely across its platforms including:

  • Heavyweight ad campaigns on H&C’s two linear channels
  • Carousel promotional graphics on the landing page of H&C+
  • Video supported social media posts
  • Inclusion within H&C+ member emails

Once every quarter H&C and EQUUS will partner with a leading equestrian brand to produce shows or series based around specific product categories, much along the lines of the recent Alan Davies Masterclass with NAF series. The content will then act as a springboard to drive promotional offers, benefiting all three parties.

Heather Killen, CEO of H&C, said: "We are keen to offer our members a range of benefits above and beyond our core service. Top of our list of priorities has been to seek out a forward thinking online retail partner. The team at EQUUS share our passion for mould-breaking innovation and we are excited at the possibilities this partnership offers.”

For EQUUS, Kim Horton, CEO, commented, “We’ve seen rapid growth in our business over the last eighteen months and, during that period, video promotion and marketing has become ever more important in the equestrian sector. The partnership with H&C will enable us to fast track our own video presence and offer new opportunities to the brands we work with.”
