Bolesworth International will kick off in fine style this year, with a glamorous Ladies Day on the opening day.
Held at Bolesworth Castle, near Chester from 16 to 19 June 2016, Bolesworth International is a spectacular equestrian extravaganza, with fun for all the family, all day long.
For the first time, there will be a dedicated Ladies Day, giving the ladies the perfect opportunity to dress up and look glamorous. Judges will be surveying outfits to crown one dazzling lady as ‘Miss Bolesworth’ 2016. This will be the first running of this exciting addition to the schedule and ladies should go all out with their hats and heels as it is expected to be a closely fought competition, with many stunning attires on display. So if you would like to be in with the chance of taking the title of Miss Bolesworth 2016, make sure you dress to impress on June 16!
Amongst the array of colour and finery of Ladies Day there will be superb competition, together with quality shopping, fine food and plentiful entertainment. Top class international riders will compete for numerous World Ranking titles in the main arena throughout the show. On Thursday (Ladies Day), you will have the chance to watch some of the top National Hunt Jockeys battle it out against the Show Jumpers in the Invitational Jockey Challenge.
A unique feature of Bolesworth International is that the fun lasts all day, with performances from 10am to 10pm, you are sure to be thrilled by the action packed schedule. And for those that wish to stay longer, there is fantastic fun to be had at the ‘Official After Party,’ with a DJ and fully licensed bar in The Bistro.
The evening of Thursday, June 16 is certainly not to be missed by dressage fans as a stunning dressage to music competition, featuring top international riders, will take centre stage in the schedule of entertainment. These mesmerising performances will follow the first of the world ranking show jumping classes, with riders competing for a prize fund of €24,600.
Besides the top class equestrian competition, there will be an amazing line up of displays, performances and entertainment including camel racing, pony rides, an equine Learning zone, bouncy castle, birds of prey, dog show, a fun fair and much more!
