Introducing Lara Edwards Dressage
Dressage rider Lara Dyson is delighted to announce the launch of Lara Edwards Dressage. Having been married for two years to her wonderful and supportive husband, Gary, and having enjoyed a lovely year with their daughter, Annabelle the time felt right to rebrand to reflect the change in circumstances.
This development comes at the start of a very exciting year for Lara as the first of her home-bred foals from her own breeding programme begin training ahead of the start of their careers competing. All the foals have been bred using Lara’s own KWPN -Approved Stallions.
The change also reflects the improvements in Lara’s ability to train and produce her homebreds and her own horses now she has moved to the state of the art facility at home.
With her breeding programme now a few years down the line, Lara is spending much of her time bringing the first of her homebred horses into work, and is thoroughly enjoying seeing their progression into dressage stars of the future.
Lara said: “The time felt right due to getting married, giving birth to Annabelle and the first of my homebreds reaching the stage at which they are ready to start their education and training to hopefully one day become my future stars”.
“In the future, I will be concentrating on producing the youngstock I have bred rather than adding more stallions with Annabelle now being with me a lot of the time. It just feels right to take a slight change of direction and with my past experience of training young horses.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed training Felix who I jointly owned with Tracey and Laura Milner, which has seen us produce some fantastic results. As soon as I sit on a horse I know if I will enjoy the training and if it will be worth it or not”.
In recent years Lara has risen through the ranks, representing her country on three occasions with her KWPN-Approved stallion Bodyguard Moorland, an achievement that is testament to her hard work and dedication as well as the excellent training she received from Rhett Bird.
Lara hopes to continue this success in the future to further raise the profile of Lara Edwards Dressage.
