Leading industry experts are heading to HorseFest, bringing their years of experience to this wonderful weekend equestrian extravaganza.

HorseFest, presented by John Oates Horseboxes, is a fantastic new, weekend festival, designed to celebrate all things horse and takes place July 8 to 10 at Kelsall Hill in the beautiful Cheshire countryside.

Experts will include world renowned vet, Dr Sue Dyson; sports therapist, Dee So’oialo; equine nutritionist, Donna Case; Society of Master Saddlers’ Qualified Saddle Fitter, Poppy Webber and former professional groom and UKCC coach, Liz Daniels to name just a few.

World-renowned expert in equine orthopaedics, Dr Sue Dyson comes to HorseFest to discuss her wealth of knowledge when it comes to lameness and poor performance in sports horses.

Sue’s passionate interest in sport horses stems from competing at advanced level eventing and grade A show jumping, and from training and producing horses who subsequently competed successfully at the Olympic Games and World Equestrian Games. She is also former veterinary advisor to British Eventing.

Sports therapist Dee So’oialo is making her mark on equestrian athletic performance treating some of the best horse and rider combinations in the country, and working alongside top experts in their field.

Liz Daniels is a former professional groom and UKCC coach and works for the British Grooms Association as their communications and membership engagement manager.

At the age of 13, Liz began her career as a groom working at the weekends on a hunting and breaking yard. On leaving school, she worked for Olympic showjumper Geoff Billington where she learned an enormous amount both on and off the yard.
Liz is passionate about education and giving back to the industry, and can regularly be found coaching at Equiteam Confidence camps.

Poppy Webber is a Society of Master Saddlers Qualified Saddle Fitter and has run PeeWee Saddlery for more than 10 years.

After stepping down from her job in Government, Poppy restarted her career as a Human and Equine Bowen Therapist, undertaking Equine Massage courses before realising saddles and saddlery were her passion. She has been a full-time saddle fitter since 2009 and offers Bowen or massage treatments alongside saddle fittings.
