THE Parelli East Anglian Savvy Team were invited to put on a series of inspirational demonstrations at the inaugural East Anglian Equine Fair at the Ipswich Showground in Suffolk.

The team consisted of Cath Langley with Fred, Anthony Greenleaves with Wiz and Claire Burgess with Harry, led by Jody Ruysen and assisted by Jennifer Woods.

Throughout the weekend the team entertained and educated the audience with two demonstrations of horsemanship in different rings on both days and a talk each day in the shopping area.

The talk involved Parelli professional, Jody educating and Anthony with his left brain introvert horse, Wiz demonstrating what Parelli was all about.

Wiz did a great job of coping with this very busy and restrictive environment, showing just how well prepared he was.

During the demonstrations the team showed the start of connection on line, fun at liberty and the art of freestyle.

With full explanations by Jody, it included Anthony’s perfect bridling techniques, Claire asking Harry to lay down in the middle of the surrounding predators and Cath riding bridle-less canter transitions and stopping half way over a barrel for a fantastic finish.

The Parelli stand in the shopping lanes was manned by supportive volunteers Amanda Fox, Annette Buzza, Lucy Pullen, Cathy Hooper, Richard Woods and Hugh Langley.  Lots of new interest was expressed and HorseManShip books and starter kits proved popular.
