Under the experienced supervision of British Equestrian Federation Elite Recreational Coach Andrew Stennett and his team, you will enjoy the perfect equestrian getaway.

The excellent facilities at Grove House Stables include a superb 60 x 20 indoor arena, meaning rain won’t stop the fun, a 60 x 20 metre Charles Britton all-weather riding arena, a jumping paddock and a cross-country course suitable for all ages and abilities, including a bank and a water complex.

For those staying mid-week, there is a competition held every Wednesday evening, throughout the summer, providing the opportunity to test your competitive spirit. Show-jumping and dressage competitions are held on alternate weeks.

Accommodation is provided by 1811 Bed & Breakfast, just a few steps away from the yard. The 200 year-old Georgian Farmhouse based at Grove House Farm has been lovingly restored to offer luxury en-suite rooms, where you will be able to relax in comfort after a hard day in the saddle.

If the fresh air and exercise has helped you build up an appetite, The Pantry 8020 café and restaurant is based on-site, specialising in mouth-watering healthy food, made with locally sourced ingredients.

To make the most of your short-break, there is plenty to do in the local area if you can tear yourself away from the horses for a few hours. Visit the polar bears at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, which is less than 30 minutes away or keep the equine theme going with a trip to Doncaster Races. If you prefer a more leisurely pace of life, take a walk along one of the many canal routes, with a stop of at the local pub for a drink.
