 Vikki and Amy Smith, from Burnley in Lancashire, will be representing Saddles Direct in the showing ring. Having originally begun their riding career in the showjumping arena, sisters Vikki and Amy soon made a statement in the world of showing when they came 7th at their first attempt in the Working Hunter Pony Class at HOYS. Since then they have established themselves as top class showing producers, alongside running a hairdressers and have earned a number of accolades in the ring, with wins including HOYS and Royal International. “Vikki and I are really excited about working with Saddles Direct this season. There are some really exciting ‘things’ in the pipeline and we can’t wait to share them with you” commented Amy.

 In the dressage arena, Lottie Flinn will be representing Saddles Direct. Lottie has been born into horses but only realised her passion in dressage in her early teens. Based in Preston, Lottie now runs a business importing and producing young horses from Holland, alongside riding and competing herself. She is aiming to qualify for the National Dressage Championships in 2016 and beyond that, dreams of representing Great Britain. “I have known Saddles Direct since it started,” Lottie explains. “I am so happy to be part of the team, having watched it grow and can’t wait to play a part in the next stages of company development.”

 Sarah Lavelle-Huxley created Saddles Direct in 2006 where it began as a small start up based from her front room. Over the ten years it has grown from strength to strength and now employs a team of staff and has premises at Crow Wood Equestrian Centre in Lancashire. “I am so excited to be working with Amy, Vikki and Lottie,” says Sarah. “For me it is important to support riders that are in line with our ethos and all three ladies know and understand the importance of saddle fit and quality when it comes to performance. I can’t wait to see how their careers progress in 2016 and beyond.”
