A strong contingent of British buyers were present at the Westphalian Auction Hall on Sunday 2nd June to bid on a selection of 29 young horses. 

 Six horses were purchased by British clients signaling a growing interest from UK buyers in the Westphalian “Brand of Excellence”.  An additional 3 bids were made by telephone from the UK and USA. 

 “We have spent the last year promoting these wonderful sport horses to our British and American
audience by improving our website and information accessibility.” notes UK Director
of Sales,  Rhegan White.  “There is a definite increase in interest from many new international buyers for Eventers, Show Jumpers and Dressage Horses as The Westphalian Studbook becomes known for offering good price value at our auctions for good horses and excellent service from our bi-lingual sales team.”    

The average sale price at the Summer Extra Auction was €14,945 with beautiful mare Ronjador v. Rock Forever I/Fidermark garnering  the highest bid at €44,000 Euros purchased by a  Bavarian buyer. Close on her heels, 4 Year Old Gelding  El Dorado was purchased for €41,000.
