Team Toby (AKA “The Galloping Granny’s”) is comprised of Toby who is a 16 year old Cob x Shire. In 2012 he became the 4 Wheeled Exercise Vehicle National Champion at Addington and won the Red Rover award completing 10 show drives in a year

 They also compete in driving trials and at the last three driving trials at The David Broome Event Centre they have been in first place in the novice class up against able bodied drivers.

 Sue Johnson (56 years old) who has Multiple Sclerosis and a heart condition is his owner and driver.  She was medically retired from the Police Force in December 2012 following 19 years of service.

 Sue Morris (72 years old) and is the back stepper is a retired teacher with an artificial knee who is not ready to sit in front of the television and vegetate.

 Life is for living!  They are not only promoting disability but also proving that age is no barrier.  They also show that this sport can be done on a shoestring as they travel the country to events with their trailer and pop up tent!!!!

 Team Toby has been picked to represent the Para Equestrian British Team for Driving Trials at the FEI World Para Equestrian Driving Singles Championships which is being held at Sandringham this month. (26 – 29 June 2014)
