Horse riding is an expensive sport.  We all know that, but are we really honest about how much money we spend on our four legged friends?

Monthly bills are set to rise as we head into the colder months requiring feed, rugs, bedding, boots, coats and all those other essential items for the yard that winter demands.  Wouldn’t it be good to save a few pounds on the less interesting items of horse ownership?

Replacing split buckets, sodden mud caked rugs that the washing machine simply can’t deal with.  Lotions and potions to keep winter ailments at bay.  And all the while you traipse around the yard wearing a 10 year old wax jacket and your beloved boots which have sustained many hoof prints and a large hole in the heal……

By joining the Essentials Club, you can shop with our partners who will give you a discount every time you need to get something.  So here’s a quick calculation to illustrate how our members are getting on as we head into winter.

Sarah and Annie both have horses that they compete regularly.  Neither are particularly high maintenance – their words not mine! Sarah is a member of the Essentials Club and has a smart pink card in her wallet.
