Riding Hat and Safety Clothing

Riding hats and safety clothing are essential.  Riding hats must be fitted by a professional to ensure the model and shape meet the correct safety standards for the UK and for your discipline.  Children's hats must be checked regularly for size and should be replaced after a fall or impact.  Body protectors and air vests are now widely used both out hacking and competing in our potentially dangerous sport.  Hi-Visibilty vests, rugs and equipment are recommended for hacking out at any time of year, but especially in low light or reduced visibility. Please check equipment regularly - prevention is better than cure!
