Riseholme College, set in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside, provides some of the finest equine training anywhere in the country. With top-class indoor and outdoor facilities, students learn from experts in the field and benefit from practical work experience placements.
We offer a wide range of full-time courses, from BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Horse Care to BSc (Hons) Equine Health and Nutrition, which is the first degree of its kind in the country. We also offer Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships in Equine. Visit our website for the full list of courses.
The unit provides stabling, riding, training and rehabilitation facilities and a rider fitness suite. We have two American-style barns, a DIY yard for students, two outdoor schools, one indoor school and a demonstration hall.
Students are also able to gain invaluable experience at the regional, national and international equestrian events, such as Lincolnshire Horse Trials and competitions hosted at the College’s Bishop Burton campus, in East Yorkshire.

The exceptional equine facilities at Moreton Morrell College include the Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre, opened by Zara Phillips, an equine unit approved by the BHS as a ‘Where to Train’ centre, indoor and outdoor arenas and horse simulator.
Our college covers 750 acres of Warwickshire countryside with stabling for more than 120 horses, 60 well-schooled competitive horses and a farriery centre and forge.
As a student, you will have opportunities to get involved in the British Eventing Spring and Autumn Horse Trials, join our Elite or Performance Equine Academies and take part in ongoing research projects to help develop the industry.


Bishop Burton Equine Centre has a fantastic range of facilities. These include a range of indoor and outdoor arenas, practical demonstration room, horsewalker, equine treadmill, solarium, equine weightbridge, interactive dressage simulator, rider fitness unit, tackrooms, equine therapy laboratory, cross country courses, equine laundry facilities and a secure off road hacking track. All of the above are available for hire by the hour or day. We have an extensive calendar of events, with local, national and international events, including the FEI Pony European Championships 2018 and regular British Eventing, British Showjumping and British Dressage events. Accommodation is available onsite for those attending events. Accommodation for riders and grooms, as well as horses, is available on site on many occasions. The Centre is a BHS Approved Riding School and Examination Centre. We're also a BHS 'Where to Train' centre up to BHSI level and have been approved by the ABRS. The Centre is open to the public for riding lessons and offer a wide range of Equine courses, including preparatory courses to get you ready for your BHS exams.
